Arab International Education (AIE) specialises in the creation and management of higher education partnerships between top-tier British institutions and prestigious universities in the Arab countries.
Our main aim is to bring quality higher education to the region by increasing its accessibility and lowering its financial barrier. We help students achieve their full potential without needing to move or incur extremely high tuition and living expenses.
Arab International Education (AIE) was founded in 2003 by Dr Khalil Habib Sayegh and his daughter Marie-Betsy Sayegh Akl who is now the CEO of the company.
Since 1944, Dr Khalil Habib Sayegh pioneered the development and publishing of quality education across the MENA region. He was the founder of the Pan-Arab “Librairie du Liban” and “Sayegh 1944” group of companies. It is one of the Arab world’s largest educational publishers, publishing over 700 dictionaries, Islamic encyclopaedias, the Sciences of the Holy Koran, academic works, educational programmes for schools and Ministries of Education and school textbooks.
